BRIDGESTONE TURANZA TIRES ARE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT
ON NEW TOYOTA PRIUS TOURING EDITION

Mississauga (Ontario), September 11, 2006 - Bridgestone Firestone Canada Inc. (BFCA) and Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT) have announced that Bridgestone® brand Turanza™ EL40002™ tires will be original equipment on the new 2007 Toyota Prius Touring Edition.

BFCA and BFNT will supply the Prius Touring Edition with Bridgestone Turanza EL40002 tires in size P195/55R16 86V. The Bridgestone Turanza EL40002 is a V-speed rated, all-season, luxury, touring original equipment tire.

The 2007 Touring Edition of the Toyota Prius started reaching dealerships in August.
